Mark D. Sikes’ beautiful bedroom, called “Sleeping Beauty” is certainly a room out of a fairy tale! This room is from this year’s Kips Bay Show House.

Beautiful porcelain flowers by Vladimir Kanevsky adorn the wall. I’ve written a whole post about porcelain flowers here.
The fabrics are from his new line by Schumacher. Beautiful wood chest!
He was inspired by Pauline de Rothschild’s Paris Bedroom, pictured here in 1969.
He custom designed this gilded canopy bed. Linens are from Walker Valentine.
Another view of the bed. I just can’t stop staring at it! SO PRETTY!
Love the window covering too.
Even this lamp shade I am crushing on!
The carpet is beautiful too! I love the chinoiserie bed table. The blue velvet chair!

Look at this “tent”! It’s the dressing room! Seriously, could it get any cuter? I love the way the little bench has the stripes and then trim matches the above trim in the ceiling!

Look at the ceiling of this tent!
The beautiful Gracie chinoiserie wallpaper is just a dream.
Oh, and he did a bathroom in blue and white! Basketweave marble floors. Venetian style mirror. Beautiful shower curtain, although not really needed because of the glass door, but that’s okay I LOVE it!

I’d say anyone who slept in this room would certainly be sleeping in beauty…
