Well, I’ve started to put away Summer and decorate for Fall. I’m not quite ready for decorating with pumpkins just quite yet, but I think transitioning into Fall colors is a good idea.
I put up some harvest nutcrackers… the wine maker and the sunflower nutcrackers as I think they go well with the harvest theme.
I just love how the fresh sunflowers pop against the Mackenzie Childs courtly check teapot and candlesticks! Don’t you think it looks nice?
I like how the brown dog, teapot, and acorn wreaths all go together too. I am really enjoying this centerpiece that sits on the island in the kitchen. I have some string lights that are little leaves that you can kind of see in the picture. They are more noticeable at night!
Are you ready for Fall? I’ll admit… I baked some pumpkin bread yesterday. It was delicious!!
Did you check out my announcement yesterday? I’m having a Pumpkin Week… ends with a pumpkin themed link party Sept 18! Check it out here

I love your fall decoration in the kitchen. The Courtly Check with the sunflowers is amazing. It really looks good with the country french fabric in the background too!
Oh! I didn't even notice at the sunflowers matched the country French yellow drapes in the background! Good eye!
I always love sunflowers this time of year. They look wonderful with Courtly Check. I can't wait for fall!
The only way I think a sunflower could be more perfect is if they were really fragrant!
Looking forward to a whole week of pumpkins. Will be back every post!
Ohm thank you! I've been busy brainstorming ideas!
Love your Black and white! Lynn
Thanks! I love them too!
Very nice and stylish!
Thank you!
Pretty! I am so ready for fall and your photos made me even more excited!
Well it's September now which by my book is safe to decorate for fall!
I love your enthusiasm for Fall! It would be great if you stopped by and joined our link party Something to Talk About. It starts every Monday morning!
Karen
I usually link up at Something to talk about… added my link, thanks for the invite!
So pretty – I just love the charm of fall decor. I think that's why we are all so eager for the season to come. Jane
I am uninspired by Summer decor… I just never know what to do. I'm not really into seashells and coral, and never really get that patriotic for 4th of July… so July and August are boring decorating months for me!
So cute! I love your fall things…but my eyes kept going to your gorgeous yellow curtains and blinds in the background! Perfect! Please come to our party, Friday Favorites, at mustlovehome.com to share what you have been working on! Live every Thursday at 7PM. Have a super week – Christine @ Must Love Home
My Mom made those curtains… she can whip up a pair of curtains in a day (no joke!) I'll give her your compliments!
Angelina,
I l o v e Sunflowers and yours are gorgeous, dear one!!!
I adore the black and white check of your Mackenzie Childs courtly checked teapot!!!
The two complement each other well!!!
Thank you for sharing and inspiring!!!
Fondly,
Pat
Thank you! I love the teapot too… my Mom gifted it to me one year for a birthday… later told me she found it for a steal on eBay (hey, I don't care where it came from! It's cute AND it boils water really well!)
Such a festive vignette! I have a similar set-up on my kitchen table, sunflowers and MC candlesticks!! I see you are also a MC collector – Have you followed our MC Traveling Tote series? Our next post will be Sept 15 and you can read our prior posts if you click on my top navigation bar.
I have followed along… I admit, sometimes I'm a bad blogger and don't always leave comments… 🙁 It's hard to keep up with everything sometimes as I also have a demanding full time job… but I do like those MK totes you have traveling around… reminds me of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants!
