Happy Halloween!! Yes, it’s a little early, but isn’t everything in blogland?  I had fun putting together this spook-tacular table!  This is my most terrifying table I have put together complete with ghastly ghosts and bloodcurdling bats!

I hung these boo-tiful bats from the chandelier… I have really enjoyed hanging stuff from the chandelier.  It elevates the table scape to a whole new level!

I love the black and white MK courtly check placemats here… I like how they mix and match with my Juliska “Country Estate” black and orange plates.  My talented mom made me the monogrammed purple napkins last year. I love how they match the poisonous purple goblets.

Each place setting is completed with a ghastly ghost name card holder.  These took me just a few minutes to make… Simply print off your guest’s name in a ghoulish font, then cut around it in a ghost shape. With a black marker, add the ghost face.  I used a Halloween truffle to prop each ghost up. The chocolate is not only for looks, but for function. Tastes good too!

In the center of the table I put my favorite little Clapsaddle vintage Halloween postcards.  I love the owl one, it’s my favorite! Followed by the black cat to the right of it!

Also in the center of the table sit scary black cats and a happy pumpkin bear.  They sit on a cake pedestal above the mysterious velvet pumpkin patch.

A closer look at the pumpkins and the hair-raising mini scary cat…

One last look… the black scary cat has crossed your path, beware!  I hope you enjoyed this frighteningly fun Halloween table!

My kind of fun! The bats look spooktacular suspended from the chandelier. The center arrangement is great- love the cards displayed in a circular fashion and the velvet pumpkins! The dishes are fabulous and the Courtley Check placemats are perfect with them.

Thank you very much! At first I thought I would take it down so I could usher in Christmas but I kinda like it so it's staying up – as it should, for Halloween!
