I will admit that January is my least favorite month. Why? The nights are still long. My house isn’t lit up with my pretty Christmas trees. It is cold outside. But what I have been looking forward to for the past several Januaries is… Downton Abbey!!!
Unfortunately this is the last season for the show. No!!

Fabulous photos- Can't believe it's the last season! (sigh) I went to a wonderful exhibit on Downton fashion featuring the costumes at a museum in Delaware last year- I think it's traveling around 🙂

I hate it is the last season – but in their classy fashion they're quitting at their peak…..and, well, if they kept going they're heading towards The Great Depression of the 30s, and no one in their right mind would want to see that happen to them!
Your fashion pics from the series are beautiful – those ladies are stunning – but I can't lie, I liked their Edwardian clothing much better than their 20s fashions. I never EVER liked the headbands and shorter bob hair styles of that era.

I have just begun to watch. Saw several show re-runs on PBS the past few months leading up to January….yes I watched….is there place can see the first seasons shows? Lovely photos of everyone….
I also thought I had replied to this comment as well. I know Amazon Prime has the seasons on there to watch, if you have a subscription with them.
I will miss for sure, one of my favorites.
I will miss it too, although I thought this week's episode was kind of boring.
Love Downton and I am so sad it's the last season.
