Let’s have a chat about this Darlana Pendant that I had never seen until 7 days ago and now I am seeing it EVERYWHERE! On my research though, it appears I may be late to this little lantern love fest, but that’s okay.

I am thinking to myself, why is this pendant so popular?? I think it is because it has both a mix of modern and old-world feel at the same time.

I admit, I actually really love this version of the light that was painted hot pink. I don’t think I would be so bold to do that, but it really adds interested to what is otherwise a sea of white.

I do like the aged iron in the kitchen below. It goes really well with the dark island.

It seems the gilded iron is the most popular color.

The pendant also comes in three sizes – small, medium, and large!
There are also quite a few copycat lights.

I really like this look. At first I was thinking that I would do some sort of Aidan Gray copycat over my kitchen islands (yes, there are two islands), but now I see these and I think, oh, gee, I like this a lot too!
What are your thoughts on the “Darlana” Pendant Lantern? Yay or Nay?
Oh, I love it Angelina! Especially in the gilded iron. Though I love Aidan Gray type lanterns too. Speaking of lanterns, I fell in love with them a couple of years ago and have one in my family room, which is adjacent to my kitchen. I also did a post on lanterns last year (pop over if you want to see some examples – though a lot of the ones I used are antiques – which are gorgeous:))
Good luck! Can't wait to see what you choose:)

Angelina, love the lantern! I think it is a great choice! Happy Memorial Day Weekend! Pam @ Everyday Living
Isn't it a cool lantern? Happy Memorial Day weekend to you too!
Angelina- you always share the prettiest, inspirational ideas for the hope.
I agree with Sheila- I love the Aidan Gray lantern fixtures.
Thank you for sharing this at TOHOT!
The Aidan Gray fixtures are so pretty but I could probably only fit 1 in my budget!
This is such a wonderful look! I can see why you are so drawn to it. Those hot pinks ones are so much fun!!
The hot pink ones are my favorite but I don't think i'd be so bold to do them!
Oh a gorgeous light fixture indeed. Thank you so very much for joining us at Thoughts of Home on Thursday. Have a wonderful holiday weekend.
That is really pretty! It looks good in every setting!
What color paint did they use for navy island?
I do not know any of the paint colors.
