Happy Thanksgiving! I’m sharing with you this year’s Thanksgiving table!  This year I was inspired by the cornucopia… while I don’t have a cornucopia, I was thinking of elements that may be inside.  So I turned to the Fall harvest and what is currently being harvested around me.

That’s why I’ve called this the natural farmhouse Thanksgiving table.  The walnuts, pomegranates, pumpkins and eucalyptus are either from my garden or the farm just down the street. The pine cones are from a hike some time ago.

The plates are one of my favorite Thanksgiving plate patterns… Spode’s “Woodland”. The goose plate was new this year.

I set up the pheasants flanking the grand ol’ turkey.

The little wheat stalks I just found at Napa Valley Vintage Home this past weekend.  I love the little size.

I keep the little bow on the turkey; it didn’t come with it.

Although I took this picture “for the blog”, based on Thanksgiving RSVPs, I need to squeeze just a few more place settings in!

One last look at this table.  I’ve really grown to like it and will miss it when I take it down. Although, I’m excited already thinking about the Christmas table!

Gorgeous! I love the table itself and your setting! So cool that those natural elements are all "local" (as in not store bought or faux).

The simple beauty of your table is what appeals to me most.

I love the impact of the white pieces and linens that you have mixed with the natural colors of items found in a cornucopia. I remember that as a child, we always drew or cut out forms of cornucopias. I still adore them to this day. Thanks for inviting us for a peek. Cherry Kay

Angelina you have no idea how much I adore this post! I am a huge Thanksgiving fan. It is my favorite Holiday and November is one of the most beautiful times to me with the last of fall's grandeur. I love everything about this post!

I love it too – we have been hosting thanksgiving for the entire family now for the past 4 or 5 years. Although I confess my centerpiece is always the same – the turkey and the pheasants! Thank you for the compliments!
