SO I am so excited because I just discovered that two of my favorite companies have partnered together to create a limited edition line for Valentine’s Day!

Diptyque, a wonderful French fragrance house, and Antoinette Poisson, a French creator and restorer of domino paper have partnered and created this luscious line of products! I wrote about Antoinette Poisson here in a post.

a limited edition domino -sold out.
Alright, the scent below is Rosamundi. Here is the description of the candle: This candle offers a pairing of the two most exquisite roses used in perfumery: Damascena, the Damask rose, and Centifolia, the May rose. They are celebrated for the variety and richness of their scents; a story is told as they bloom. In the top note, currant and bergamot provide freshness, the lychee’s fruitiness complements their petals, and the geranium enhances their naturalness.

If you like the Baies candle or like rose candles, you will love this one! Get the 2.4oz candle, or the larger  6.5oz candle

Next is a Multi Use SprayA rare eau with many applications, scenting both skin and fabric. Its scent has the natural grace of rose, the freshness of foliage and a slight, almost undetectable trace of patchouli. To scent fabrics, spray the Eau Dominotée at a distance.
I bought this and it is WONDERFUL! It smells so nice!

The is a perfect gift for Valentine’s Day: the Eau Rose Travel Perfume in limited edition packaging. If you like rose perfumes than this one will be your favorite!

I totally have an obsession with this French fragrance house. I love all of their products. They even had limited edition scented papers for your linen drawers but they have sold out.

Victoria Tv Show

Did you start watching the Victoria tv show on PBS which premiered this past weekend? If not, it’s not too late to start watching this season!
Well, here is my first review.
It’s hard not to compare it to the Crown given that they both are period pieces about English Queens!
The Crown was better in every way, however, that being said, I really enjoyed Victoria and if you like period tv dramas (Downton Abbey, the Crown, Outlander, Mr. Selfridge) then you will like this show!
It follows the life of Queen Victoria. The costumes and sets are beautiful, however the Queen seems so much more childish than Queen Elizabeth – and perhaps she was!

    Hello Angela,

THe limited edition of the Diptyque candle looks beautiful. Love the French inspiration of the design. My favorite scents are floral so I am definitely going to try to find this one.

I have been watching the Crown on Netflix. I do agree that the Crown is more realistic. The younger years of Queen Elizabeth made me see her as a real person and her love of country. I have also started watching Queen Victoria. It is growing on me. I do have to admit that I love my period dramas.

    Thank you for visiting me.

Yes they just arrived yesterday in the mail and it is so pretty I almost don't want to burn the candle! If you love floral scents, then this one and the Baies scent from them is perfect for you. Baies is my favorite candle ever.
Queen Victoria is growing on me too!
