What I love about the change of seasons is also the change of flavors and scents…
Cinnamon and nutmeg now fill the air…
And you can dine inside or outside!
I have a few tips for Fall entertaining.
1. Develop a theme
Developing a theme for your party is fun! It can be… an ingredient (pumpkin!), a color palette, or as simple as being inspired by Fall foliage from your garden.
2. Serve a Fall drink
Apple cider, pumpkin spice latte, Mexican hot chocolate, pumpkin spice tea… to name a few.
3. Dine Outside
You can start serving appetizers outside and when the temperatures drop in the evening, either bring your party inside or bring some blankets!
4. Always have sweets
Bake a pie, or a cake, or macarons.
If you don’t have time to bake from scratch, use a mix. Like I did. I used a pumpkin chocolate chip pumpkin bread mix. Shh! Don’t tell!
This way, when your guests come over, the scent of Fall spices linger in the air…
Pumpkin bread sounds great!
Yes this didn't last long!
I love pumpkin everything! When fall finally arrives here, I can eat outdoors … tea time! Have a lovely week.
Angelina, I love Fall, and these are wonderful entertaining tips! That pumpkin chocolate chip bread looks yummy!
