Sharing my Summer mudroom with you today AND participating in a vintage garden hop!! First, a big thank you to Amber at Follow the Yellow Brick Home for arranging this blog hop! If you’re coming from My Thrift Store Addiction, Welcome!! Don’t you love her vintage touches in her garden?
I’ve styled my mudroom for the Summer with touches from the garden. I don’t have a garden yet since we just moved into this new house. A basket full of dried lavender sits on the shelf. I dried the lavender from the garden last year! The lavender sits in a vintage basket. Last year at Christmas I gave out little bunches of dried lavender – I do hope people enjoyed them as much as I do!
The sunflowers came from Trader Joes – we forgot to plant some this year! Too many things going on… next year we’ll remember! I have had fun photographing the sunflowers throughout the house. They really do brighten any room!
On the shelves of the cabinet sit vintage baskets, an antique pitcher, vintage hen-on-nests, and an antique dough bowl. The dough bowl has been sitting on top more as holding spot until Fall and Winter. It’s quite big and would take so many flowers to fill in the Spring!
The straw hat is an essential for the Summer – this one is UPF 50 to protect my sensitive pale porcelain skin.
Love my Mackenzie Childs boots I picked up at their sale a few years ago. I confess I bought them a size too big on accident and then they were all sold out – that’s okay, big fluffy socks make up the size difference.
Hope you are having a wonderful Summer. Soon it will be time for pumpkins – in fact, I’ve already planted mine! If you enjoyed this post, I think you’ll like my Summer Farmhouse Table Setting!
Next, hop on over to Stacy at Poofing the Pillows blog to see her vintage garden decor!
Here are all of the lovely bloggers in the hop!
Such a fun and beautiful spot in your home, Angelina! I love seeing all it!
I would decorate with those darling boots too. 🙂

Thank you! The boots just sit there all year – except in the Winter, so it’s fun to drag them out and adore them!
Well, you have the prettiest mudroom I’ve ever seen! I love how you style it for the seasons. Happy to be joining the tour with you! Blessings, Cecilia @ My Thrift Store Addiction

Love your summer styled mudroom! It’s really cheery and welcoming. I love and harvest my Lavender each year. Small bundles throughout the house are heavenly. Love your giant dough bowl and boots! I’ve planted pumpkins as well. Hope to get some. They did good last year, but this year has been a crazy hot one!
hugs,

Thank you! I don’t have a garden this year (other than a vegetable garden), so there is nothing to show but weeds! My pumpkins are growing… not that big *yet*, but there is still time.
Oh I have mudroom envy Angelina! There is just something so charming about a brick floor. I too love wearing big straw hat in the sun.

Thank you! Yes I am so happy that I went with brick floors!
Your mudroom seems to pretty to add any mud too. Love how you’ve styled it too!

Hahaha! There has been mud in there… just all cleaned up now!
Angelina, your mudroom is a happy spot. Love the touches of MKC and the happy sunflowers. My CC boots still have a touch of Americana sporting flags within. Aren’t we lucky to have a pair of these iconic boots!

Thank you! Yes don’t you love those boots!
Angelina, your summer mudroom is beautiful! I think we have the same brick flooring. I love mine because it always looks clean! I am so happy to be on this tour with you! Enjoy your week!!!

Thank you! You are right – it does usually look clean!
Angelina, I immediately spied the CC boots and pitcher . If your planted garden turns out anything like your interior (and I’m certain it will), it will be stellar. Probably enough to fill that killer dough bowl – wowee!
Beautiful styling.

I love CC anything – I really want some of the ruffled edged plates but will have to save up for them. Gardens are starting next year, hopefully… thank you for the compliments.
I think I have a case of Mudroom envy now! This space is just too wonderful-the paint color, the brick floor, the custom lockers. Makes this old house lover want a new house! What a fun place for your to style with the seasons! Function and beauty are the best combo:) Fun hopping with you again, Angelina!

Love your mudroom and those boots!! Lavender is a wonderful idea for a gift!

Thank you!! The lavender gift took some early planning but I did it!
I love the simplicity of your straw basket with sunflowers. I’m decorating for an event at our house this weekend and I’ll be copying your idea.
What a cute mud room- the MC boots are adorable! Love the basket full of sunflowers. I need to grow some of my own too. Have to make a note for next year! Thank you for joining our Garden Party!

Thank you so much! Next year I need to grow some!
My gumboots aren’t as photogenic, but they get the job done in wet and muddy conditions when I’m working. – Margy
