This year’s Halloween table with floating candles is inspired by an enchanted castle. The castle, owned by an evil Queen, becomes enchanted at night.
However, during the day it exudes elegance.
Fresh flowers spill out of a tulipiere. Figures of angels decorate the table.
Soup bowls with lions heads are filled with pumpkins.
The antique lace runner has birds dragons woven into it.
As the sun starts to set, spooky things start to happen.
The evil Queen’s castle becomes enchanted with spells and ordinary items take flight.
Floating candles are abound. Music plays in the background. To create this table with floating candles, I thought about making my own Harry Potter inspired floating candles as I read various tutorials about it.
But I was running short on time and supplies, so instead I purchased these remote controlled LED candles. I then used fishing line and hung the candles from the chandelier. I strongly recommend remote controlled candles as when you hang the candles high it is hard to turn them off without a remote control! I had fun with this last image and photoshopped a few extra candles in! I hope you enjoyed my Halloween table with floating candles!
Check out my Halloween mudroom this year too!
beautiful! I love the floating candles.
