The bunnies hopped onto my dining table last week and now this week I’ve finished decorating the house for Easter!
Besides Christmas, Easter is my favorite holiday to decorate for. I think it’s because I’m a sucker for bunnies.
In fact, maybe I should rename my blog Maison du Lapin. HA! I’m giggling to myself because there are tons of jack rabbits all of the time in my yard too!
Every year I look forward to seeing my little mohair Steiff bunnies and sheep.
These are all still handmade today in Germany – I went to the Steiff Museum in Germany when I was there last year.
Some of them are redone vintage designs. Some are new designs. The one below is a vintage design that was remade.
I have little Easter vignettes around the house. Here is a vintage Easter egg holder with alabaster eggs and little vintage cards. The Staffordshire couple stays there year round.
I like this little Easter egg ornament tree. I just set it actually into a serving piece and it fit perfectly!
I think it would look cute in the center of your Easter buffet with snacks in the tray itself!
The swan vase holds flowers and is flanked by Easter baskets!
These ornaments are actually from Christmas but I keep them instead in my Easter box!
Over on the French buffet is my pair of white ceramic bunnies. I got the standing one last year – he’s so cute with his little basket that serves as a vase. Unfortunately it has sold out.
I got the matching salt and pepper shaker years ago but there is a similar one here, nearly a replica!
A last look at this bunny pair. One year they were the centerpiece for an Easter table.
In the corner is an Easter bar… ready for treats and drinks! Sharing this next week…
Last week I shared the Easter table!
My favorite part of the table are the little nests with Easter chocolates sitting on each place setting!
And last but not least, I have the most fragrant orchid in an ivy vase with a moss bunny perched in it. Isn’t it adorable?
That concludes this year’s home tour!

beautiful as always my friend. I still have a steiff teddy bear. I sold the others of the years. But I will keep my pink bear it was placed in my bassinet when I was born ( yep it is that old, wink). Yoiur bunny uis so cute. I seriously like everything you decorated with, just so pretty, pinned and featured xo
Katherine, thank you for hosting every week. I enjoyed your sweet story of your beloved bear. I have my old Beatrix Potter Tom Kitten that still sits on the bed in my guest room – just can't part with it! Not too many people I know decorate with little Steiff teddies, but I love them, even went tot he Steiff museum in Germany – what's not to love about a museum dedicated to the teddy bear??
