I love collecting vintage baskets and using them in my decor. Amber at Follow The Yellow Brick Home organized a blog hop today with the theme of how you use baskets in your Fall decor. If you are coming from Decor To Adore, welcome! She always has such beautiful decor!
While these aren’t technically baskets, these olive buckets are new to me this season and I thought they looked pretty filled with blooming mums.
I was drawn to these maroon and purple colors of the mums this year.
On the shelves, I have a vintage basket on the bottom left. I think it is technically a hat basket, but I can’t remember. I have had this since childhood and more fondly remember it being filled with my doll’s clothes. The other shelves are filled with other reminders of Fall – pumpkins both faux and velvet, and a pumpkin spice tin!
This is one of my favorite baskets below. It usually sits on a shelf, but I brought it down to showcase these beautiful white flowers.
Yes, I confess this basket was brought down because of the photoshoot today, but you know what? I don’t care! It looks cute in the picture. It had to be put back on its shelf though as I’d otherwise trip over it in this location!
Regular readers of mine will know I just shared my Halloween mudroom earlier this month.
Next up on the Fall Baskets blog hop is My Thrift Store Addiction. I know you will enjoy what she has to share!
Those are my favorite color of mums, too! I always enjoy seeing your charming mudroom! Happy to be joining the hop with you! Blessings, Cecilia @My Thrift Store Addiction

Pink and green tend to go well together, don’t they?
I love this post and the beautiful baskets. Reading it reminded me that I have a 67 year old basket in the attic that I should be using this fall. I’m heading up to get it now.

I realized there are a few other baskets I forgot to include! Oh well… 🙂
Angelina the first picture just grabbed me right away with those pretty pinks! Loving the scarf, the pink mums and the velvet pumpkins. That hat box is amazing. Love your little basket filled with mums.
I think of olive buckets as metal baskets! They look absolutely perfect in your mudroom.
Thanks so much for joining the hop dear friend!

Thank you very much! I am so happy with how the floors turned out! I still love them like the first day I saw them! I think that’s why I like styling the mudroom for pictures!
Angelina, you have the best mudroom ever. If I were building a house I would start with a mudroom like yours and build around it. Love the flowers and buckets too!

aww, thank you so much for your kind words! The cabinets in the mudroom were initially going to go in between the door and the window (to the left of the cabinets… you can only see the door). But when the framing started we realized that the cabinets would tuck in perfectly right where they are!
The mum filled olive buckets and baskets are beautiful and perfectly top off your fabulous mudroom. Love the color combo!

You have such a great mud room! And those mums are gorgeous! So great to join you on this hop.
Ok I now want to move into your mudroom! It is just gorgeous and so are your baskets and flowers!
Like you, Angelina, I treat my olive buckets like baskets. The same goes for trays with handles. I especially love that you still have your basket that held your dolls’ clothes. That’s vintage at its best. It’s been a pleasure sharing your company this week. I’ve enjoyed your styling.
Your mudroom is wonderful and I love how you used your olive buckets filled with mums to add a little fall to the area.
Angelina, I love your gorgeous mudroom all decorated up for fall! The way you used your fall baskets (olive bucket included) are gorgeous. So happy to be hopping with you!

Those pink mums are absolutely stunning and YES, olive buckets are a basket in my book!
