I love Valentine’s Day! While we have actually never technically “celebrated” it by going out to dinner or whatever the commercial pop culture tells us to do, but I LOVE all of the pink and the excuse to drag out my more feminine and frilly items!
One of my favorite blog hops that I participate in is the Vintage Valentine’s Day Blog hop hosted by Amber at Follow The Yellow Brick Home! I am sharing my vintage tiered tray as part of this hop!
If you’re doing the hop in order, welcome from My Thrift Store Addiction. Isn’t her Valentine’s so pretty?
Last year I started decorating my tiered tray that I have had for several years and it used to just sit in the closet. I decorated the top tray with my antique Staffordshire swans which are actually inkwells. I had saved the heart ornaments which were on one of my trees and left them out of the box for this occasion.
I perched my vintage resting angel on top of a vintage looking chocolate box. I have also displayed a few of my vintage tea cups, various other chocolate and candy boxes, and a new favorite rose scented candle. Even unlit, it smells amazing!
On the other side of the tray, I have a velvet bejeweled strawberry. Another favorite rose scented candle rests on the bottom.
A different tea cup sits on the middle shelf. An antique red transfer ware creamer is displayed on the bottom.
One last look at the tray! I love the little angel! If you missed it, yesterday I shared my Swan Valentine’s Day Table for Two.
Next up on the Vintage Valentine’s Blog Hop is Virginia Sweet Pea. You’ll love her pretty Valentine’s decor!

The tiered tray is perfect for small collections and vignettes. It’s something I need to invest in. As always thank you for the inspiration Angelina!

Love this beautiful way to display so many pretty Valentine’s Day inspired pieces. I cannot get over your swan inkwells – they are amazing. Learning calligraphy is one of my goals for the year so this is definitely exciting to see. Hugs, CoCo

I found the inkwells on ebay! Good luck with calligraphy! Happy Valentine’s Day!
The hubby and I used to say no to Valentine’s day because we felt is was dumb and thought people should show love year round. Well now that it’s just the two of us, it gives us an excuse to do something different. 😉 Love that tiered tray. So much sweet character. I need to get one!

I agree with you!
How fun. I love your Laduree box. I have one in green. Your little cherub is too cute. I love this.
Author
Thank you! I love collecting the Ladurée boxes.
Your swan ink wells are fabulous! Can you imagine having to dip a pen in ink to write? I can only imagine the mess I would make. I am in love with your sweet resting angel. I think that I would have to display this year round. Your tiered tray looks really pretty and I also enjoyed your Swan tablecape that you shared yesterday.

Your tiered tray is valentine perfection. Love the antique swan inkwells, the pretty tea cups, and the heart ornaments. I love a tiered tray and wish I had room to keep mine out.

Thank you! You could move some things around I’m sure to make some space… 🙂
Your tier tray is so pretty in itself. It is adorable with all the sweet treasures styled perfectly. That pink teacup on the center tray is my favorite item.

Angelina,
Beautiful collection of Valentine-inspired items on your tray… Using your vintage tray to display your collection is much better than storing it in the closet. 🙂
Happy Valentine’s Day,

Angelina, I love that little strawberry and how the pop of red stands out with all the pretty, sweet accents. What a great idea to turn a tiered tray into a Valentine vignette! Always fun hopping with you!

Your tiered server is perfectly decorated! I’m a huge fan of red transferware so I fell in love with your dainty creamer 🙂

I love red transfer ware too and wish I had more of it!
Just popped in your blog to check out The Petite Haus. I love it for at least 3 reasons: 1. I collect and sell vintage dishware, 2. I love all things French Country, 3. I love pink.
