I have assembled my first tablescape after the big move! I was inspired by the beautiful roses that are blooming here, the orange topiaries, and my new French burlap fabric I bought!

I put a freshly picked rose on each place setting. It’s not just to look at – pick it up and take a little sniff and you’ll be treated with the most pleasant smelling rose!
These are David Austin roses and they smell heavenly!
I saw a very similar table runner in Napa recently but they wanted $100. I found very similar fabric at a fabric store and bought it for $6/yard. I intended to make placemats with it but I think I like it as a runner for now!
I put one of my madeleine anduze candle pots in the center. It has a really nice fragrance. Purchased these at Pierre Deux years ago (RIP).
I like the Frenchie Summer feeling of this table. The cups and plates are from Williams-Sonoma. The cups are printed in French with fruits on them.

Very pretty! I love the green colour of the plates and how wonderful to have a rose to smell as you sit down. I'm on the look out for a runner like that – guess I better check out the fabric stores like you as I sure don't want to spend $100!

I love your table! The orange trees caught my eye right away. I have a potted calamondin orange tree on my deck just loaded with tiny, green, pea-sized oranges. You got me thinking just how lovely a cluster of leaves and an orange would look wrapped around a napkin at a place setting. Those green plates are wonderful, too. I had seen them at Williams-Sonoma and had to tear myself away. The David Austen rose smells heavenly, I'm sure. When I moved I left behind a huge, fragrant Austen climber that I miss to this day. Nicely done here!
Oh, a cluster of those little oranges would look cute on a place setting! We bought the WS plates in several colors and use them as our outdoor plates. You should plant a new David Austen rose at your new house!

I should correct myself, the fabric is actually a linen and not a burlap like I said. You can check out your local fabric store… I found mine in the kitchen towel section of all places!

Lovely table! The little orange tree topiaries are so cute. I saw fabric like that on a roll at a cute shop a couple of years ago and it was more like $26.95 a foot! You did good! I would love to smell those roses- their such a pretty shade of yellow!
I think my linen was something like $20/yard and I got 2 yards. Way cheaper than $100! Thanks for the compliments!
